The coil spring on our garage door snapped and needed replacement. I called Door Care and spoke to Jose. He walked me through the process and gave me a fair quote. He is flexible with the schedule and came to fix our garage door later in the afternoon. He is very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend him for any garage door repairs.

Timely response & availability. Courteous, honest & professional. Clean on work. Expedient. Very much fair in market-pricing. My garage door is the quite heavy type with aluminum frames with simulated wood & frosted glass. It's 8 years old. Quite recently when opening, it has shown signs of struggling, then acutely it could not go up even a quarter of the way. The counter-spring broke. Trapped the vehicles in the garage. We could not go anywhere. We called various entities. Closed or no answer. The Door Care answered on a Saturday morning, and was there within 2 hours to assess the issue. Jose of the Door Care helped in temporarily opening the heavy garage door, and we parked the cars in the driveway in the interim. The Door Care got back with us immediately on the next working day, fixed the broken springs. We also identified pertinent wear & tear on some other items, and these were proactively changed & replaced. Hinges & roller bearings inspected & lubricated at no cost. Quite delightfully, when the job was finished, there were barely any mess. That was a breath of fresh air for me with near-compulsive cleanliness & organization given my experience with other trade services for home. Friendly & helpful, fair-priced, timely service, excellent workmanship, clean post work field are but a few of the confidence-inspiring experience we had in dealing with Door Care.

Jose did a fantastic job replacing our garage door! He was very responsive and willing to answer all of our questions throughout the process, and the price was great, especially given the high-quality work. Our door was old enough that it was tricky to replace and required some carpentry adjustments around the opening — Jose worked with us to figure out a plan and got the new one installed in just a few hours. Based on my observations, I believe Jose is a genuinely honest individual. I live on the lake, and I've noticed that the estimates I receive from others often come with inflated lake prices, typically triple what they should be. However, Jose provided an estimate that I found reasonable and returned within an hour with the necessary parts to complete the job. He exceeded my expectations by addressing a few additional issues that he felt needed attention, all without charging me extra—he simply didn't want to leave them unresolved because of his perfectionist nature. I highly recommend Jose and hope he continues to grow his business, as we certainly need more honest professionals like him.
